Jules Riskin was born on August 25th, 1926 in Oakland, CA. He earned a M.A. in Social Sciences and a Ph.B. in Liberal Arts in 1948 and a M.D. in 1954, at University of Chicago, IL. He joined the MRI in Palo Alto in 1959 and has been in the research team for approximately 40 years, studying Family Interaction. Several of his projects were supported by federal grants (N.I.M.H.). He was one of the founding members, and was a Senior Research Associate at MRI. Dr Riskin left the MRI in 1999, continuing his private practice in Cupertino, CA.
